Feb 22 2013 — Being pro-life isn’t only about protecting the unborn. Benedictine College students are taking action to include the elderly in the pro-life movement.
“It’s important to remember that the elderly need our help,” said Clare Koezly, a BC student in charge of Helping Unite Generations Growing in Spirituality (H.U.G.G.S.).
“Sometimes pro-lifers are accused of only caring about the baby until he or she is born. We need to change those people’s views, Koezly said.
“The elderly of our country are being attacked by euthanasia and the threat of inadequate heath care.”
