Professor Stephen Robson, spokesman for the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, considers a non-invasive test for detecting Down syndrome the "holy grail" and said there was an "enormous research effort" behind it (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,595705,00.html).

When I read this article, I started wondering what the professor considered "non-invasive." A non-invasive medical test is defined as one that does not penetrate the body. The concern for invasive prenatal testing is that it could cause a miscarriage in a "normal, healthy" unborn child. My beautiful 7-year-old daughter Chloe who has Down syndrome is very healthy and above normal when it comes to things that truly matter. The non-invasive test developed for Down syndrome will cause the most "invasive" procedure possible for these precious children Termination.

With a 90%+ abortion rate for children diagnosed prenatally with Down syndrome, there is nothing "holy" about this testing. The "Holy Grail" was the cup that led to eternal life, and the "non-invasive test" for Down syndrome will be the instrument that leads to the extinction of a group of individuals who through their purity and unconditional love show our lost world a glimpse of Heaven.

The Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology needs to spend an "enormous research effort" studying truth and facts about this silent eugenic movement and asking themselves "Who will be targeted next with 'non-invasive' testing?"
