Ben Frush is a med-peds resident at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He received his MD from the University of North Carolina and was a fellow in the Theology, Medicine, and Culture Fellowship at the Duke Divinity School. He is interested in bioethics, specifically how both theology and moral philosophy can inform current conversations involving disability, moral formation in medicine, and end-of-life care.
What is lacking in modern medical training is a community of fellow trainees collectively committed to a rich, morally robust view of medicine and the physician's place in it. This is what the Hippocratic Forum seeks to provide.
