Many Fears and Fearful

In life, we experience fear in many ways. However, few really understand that fear can be a blessing in disguise. There are the fears that are of the flesh and there are fears that are spiritual in nature. Some think that fear is a single entity and always negative. But, I present to you a different view.

Many categories of fear are all spiritual, in nature. The fear of God and His judgments (wrath, guilt, and all associated feelings) are to be understand as warning signs. These signs call your attention to the need to take corrective action; such as reading God's Word, praying, and listening to the Lord's leading. In other words, it is an inventory taking time; a time to look at your relationship with God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit ... a looking at the upcoming tests and situations, just ahead, in life; such as major illness, divorce, other sins, or even growth forebodings.

It is a time to stop and take correction action so you will be prepared by the workings of the Holy Spirit. Then, when you come to that testing, instead of it being so big and threatening, it will be made small and will be an opening for new growth. The learning process will give you knowledge of God and strengthen your faith. You will go forth praising God for His preparation in you, before the tests. Thus, fear becomes a friend and not an enemy.

Many times, the Lord puts testing in your path - to get you to stop and consider many aspects of your life, so He can do a greater work in you. Then, you can move forward, boldly, to the next testing of your faith; knowing how to be an overcomer. Fear will be absorbed in love and a stronger relationship with God.

In our weakness, He will do a great and mighty work in our lives, when we learn to harness FEAR and make it a FRIEND. Thus, we grow in grace and knowledge of our Father and Lord Jesus Christ. Therein, we please them, as well as ourselves. We will find great freedom and liberty when we learn how to harness fear.

When we have progressed through fear, we learn what real godly love is: total, unconditional, love. Our whole attitude, towards God and fellowman, will be forever changed into a person with Christ-like attitudes and presence of mind.

Our hope will be increased and strengthened to where doubt will be discarded. We will know, beyond any doubt, that Jesus Christ is able to do above all that we can think or do. This will bring you to total victory, in Jesus Christ. Learn to harness your fears to be strengthened in faith.
