In the book of Colossians, we find great treasures that are hid in chapters one and two; the silent workings of the Holy Spirit, showing forth the Love of God, reflected in the lives of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ ...

The workings of faith and love in the lives of believers abounds unto all the saints, the hope as a result of hearing and obeying the gospel of Christ Jesus, the bringing forth fruit by hearing and knowing the grace of God in truth, the intercessory prayers for the filling of knowledge of His perfect will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, the empowering of knowledge that they may grow and be strengthened into all good works ...

Strengthened with all might according to His glorious power unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness, the giving of thanks and praise unto the Father who has performed great works to make us partakers of the inheritance of light and deliverance from darkness, the action of translating us into the Kingdom of His dear Son; in whom we have redemption through His precious blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Jesus Christ, who is the image of the invisible God, the first born of every creature.

Oh, the mighty works of Almighty God, our Father, and the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, in His almighty love has made a way for us by the sacrifice of the Lamb of God, His son. Through His obedience and love, He laid His life down for us and gave us the gift of life through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, who works mightily in our lives, silently.

Apostle Paul speaks of the mighty works of God through Jesus Christ that, through Him should all fullness dwell. The reconciling power of Him for those who were alienated and enemies have been reconciled to Himself and also to the Father; in the body of His flesh, through death, to present us holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His sight.

Paul praises the Lord for making him a minister, and for all the sufferings, and that Christ Jesus suffered more for His body's sake (the church). He received a gift of dispensation from God for him to pass on to others, to fulfill the Word of God: the mystery which had been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to His saints - to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the Hope of Glory.

Thus, we find our lives dead and Christ Jesus living His life through us, in a great silent way of working all things out in our lives to His Glory and to fulfill the perfect will of God for us. It is His life He is living through us. He acts in such a quiet and efficient way, we don't even have to plan our way; it is planned for us. When we obey and surrender our lives completely, we have the most abundant and fruitful life what can be found this side of Glory.
