Andrew T. Walker is Associate Professor of Christian Ethics and Apologetics at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is also the Executive Director and Fellow of the Carl F. H. Henry Institute for Evangelical Engagement. He serves as the Executive Editor of Eikon: A Journal for Biblical Anthropology, the journal of The Council for Biblical Manhood and Womanhood. Dr. Walker researches, writes, and speaks about the intersection of Christian ethics and public theology with particular focus in the areas of anthropology, natural law, and church-state studies. In addition to numerous journal articles and book chapters, he is the author or editor of over ten books, including God and the Transgender Debate and Marriage Is: How Marriage Transforms Society and Cultivates Human Flourishing. He writes regularly for such outlets as National Review, Providence Journal, The Gospel Coalition, and Public Discourse. His forthcoming volume is with Brazos Press titled Liberty for All: Defending Everyone's Religious Freedom in a Pluralistic Age. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies from Southwest Baptist University graduating summa cum laude. He received his Master of Divinity, Master of Theology, and Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Ethics from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He is an avid long- distance runner and resides in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife and three daughters.
