Siobhan Heekin-Canedy is a freelance writer on topics including international affairs, religion, sports, and feminism. She holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Thomas Aquinas College. From 2008-2014, Siobhan represented Ukraine as an elite-level ice dancer, ultimately competing in the 2014 Winter Olympics. She and her husband Michael are the proud parents of two daughters, Maris Stella and Olympia.
