Our Own Promised Land

The promised land lies within our hearts and spirits. For x amount of time, we journey through the desert; spending time with others, learning about HIM. Until, upon oneÊglorious day, we break away (as Joshua and Caleb did) and take full responsibility, without fear,Êfor our own personalÊjourney to the promised land.

When we accept full responsibility for ourselves and our actions, then weÊshall truly meet God. When we no longer blame others for our sins and misfortunes and admit to God, face to face, that we and no other are responsible for our actions, blessed release takes place and we can accept loving forgivenessÊdirectly from the heart of God.Ê

There are no maps available to helpÊus to reach our destination. Each individual traveler starts off equipped only with a seeking mind and a bag full of faith. Should we, at any time,Êshow our mapsÊto one another,Êthe routeÊwhich weÊhave takenÊwill be as individual as we are. But what I have realized is that, when do we meet fellow explorers, we recognize one another immediately and share the adventures of our journey with passion and truth.

To experience God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit (in our daily lives) gives one a rush which no man made drug ever could. To praise and worship him brings a depth to life that is deeper than any ocean. To walk with him every day, as a friend and mighty councilors, brings a calming to the mind which no earthly experience ever could.

PackÊyour Bible and tackies into a bag, look towards the horizon of heaven, and set out uponÊthe journey which will enrich your lives beyond anything that you haveÊever experienced. The fullness of life awaits youÊat the end of the road.

With love and my deepest good wishes for your journey.

God bless you and yours,
Susan.
