Which Way to Raise a Child
Proverbs 22:6

The world's philosophy of 'eat, drink, for tomorrow you may die' is of the concept that there is no God. So, therefore, I am God and I will do what I want. This kid is mine and I will decide what to do with it. I might let the village raise it, the whole community; to make sure it is taken care of. It probably will not amount to much, anyway. It might be a good tax write off so, therefore, I will let it live ... a formula for real failure; of parents and child.

But, God, the Father, says, "Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it." In other words, "I created you, gave you life, and have given you power to have a child; a precious gift to you. Therefore, I command you to train up the child, in the way I have set forth." You are to teach that child that God is God; the creator and sustainer of life.

"I will also direct his path, I have a purpose for that life, and I want it to be fulfilled. Since I have given you a precious child, a gift from me, I want you to cherish, nurture, and love that child. You are to teach that gift to know me. I am that I AM! I am God and I command you to obey and to teach my child. My child will bloom into a great person in ME, when you teach as I direct you to teach. My child will know my commands, ordinances, statues, and laws on which to base their life. Its life will be based on principles that work, successfully, when applied by my child. I want all parents and children to be all they can be as I direct their lives, bless, and nurture them.

I created marriage so that families would be the cornerstone of society, that my people would have blessings, love, and mercies that I want to pour out upon them all. I want the very best for my people. They will produce the fruits of the Spirit and, thereby, have my divine protection and provisions on them. I will abundantly bless you as you teach my child all about ME.

I give you the choice to serve me in love, that you might know me very personally. Raise my child in the way he should go and he will not depart; for he will know love. I have called you out of the world to serve me in love. Please, obey me, God."
