Gray Clouds

My husband sent me a cute card, today. It sang that cute little mustard song. "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are gray ..."

Just a little thought about gray clouds and stress that each is enduring.

The clouds are not gray. It's just how we see them. Usually, when the sky is gray, it is because it's going to rain. Rain brings food and life to many things: animals, flowers, trees - things that make this land so beautiful. But also, without water, we would die. So, rain brings us life. Gray clouds and rain could also be looked at as storms, in our lives, and stress.

Without the storms of life, we couldn't grow. The opposite of growth is to die. Storms are there for a reason. They are there to grow us, to feed us, to bring us a better life with Christ.

It's all in how we look at it. Go through the storms, with Christ, to get to the other side; to find the fastest way out. Otherwise, we have to repeat that storm, as many times as it takes, until we get it. And usually, there is a rainbow or some wonder on the other side. The battle is the Lord's. The storm is there to teach us and to grow us; to give us life. Storms are really blessing, if you can look at it like that.

God loves His children and will do the most loving thing. If we are seeking Him, He will not hide from us. when seeking him, following His will, we are underneath the umbrella of His protection. In the end of everything, God always wins. We can't change anything. We can change how we respond to each new trial that comes our way. The way we respond makes it go a lot better, or a lot worse. In the end, GOD WINS!!!!!!!!Ê THE BATTLE IS WON!!!!!!Ê What is there to really stress about????

And I say unto you,
Ask, and it shall be given you;
seek, and ye shall find;
knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
Luke 11:9
