ADOLESCENCE AND MATURATION

Question 4:

My friends talk about girls all the time, but I am not really interested in them. I find science more interesting and I like to read a lot. Am I abnormal or psychologically unbalanced?

Answer 4:

It's all right to find science more interesting than girls, though you should not neglect the development of social skills. It is good to develop your own interests, since it will help to make you a better and more interesting person to be with. Perhaps the key idea is balance. Try to develop a well-rounded personality, and remember to work on all aspects of maturity (see Question 2).
