My parents can't wait to marry me off. Sometimes the questions my relatives ask make me feel very uncomfortable. Is there anything wrong with staying single?
Human beings are called to love and to be loved. For most people, this means marriage. It is however possible to remain single as a working adult and yet love in a deep way the people you come into contact with. A third group of people choose to join religious groups where they remain single so that they are more free to love and to help others.' So there is nothing wrong with being single. One can be single and still be a loving person. However, you should be sure that you are not avoiding marriage for selfish reasons, for this may lead to frustration later.
